The Trust has been notified by one of our suppliers that there has been reports of patients receiving hoax calls. These calls feature an automated message that falsely claim to be from the BadgerNet team and attempt to gather personal information.
Please be assured that these calls are not from the supplier and they would never ask for sensitive information over the phone.
To help protect yourself, please remain vigilant and follow these guidelines:
- Do not share personal information with unknown callers.
- Verify the caller's identity by contacting our official customer service number.
Although we do not believe this has affected any of our patients, if you receive one of these phone call please inform the Information governance team on information.governance@ncic.nhs.uk or 01228 603961.
