We would like to thank everyone for the kind offers of support coming through from the local community in support of our amazing NHS Staff. We are very grateful for everyone who has donated, shared and supported our COVID-19 Appeal to help raise funds for staff wellbeing.

If you are thinking of donating to our appeal, please visit our Just Giving page.  The funds raised here will go towards helping staff come to terms with their experiences as they move forward through this crisis.

As this situation evolves it is crucial the Trust continues to adapt and is now working up new ways to best support staff and coordinate donations in the coming weeks.

We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support we have received and cannot thank our local communities enough. We’ve received lots of kind donations including food deliveries and a range of other donations which we are very grateful for.

We’re now asking that in line with the social distancing measures, the public avoid coming to our sites with hot or perishable food deliveries.

There are items that we can accept for our staff such as, bottled water, toiletries or energy bars.

If you can support one of the areas, then please get in touch with us through our Co-ordination Hub at Volunteering@ncic.nhs.uk or by calling 01228 814567. We would be grateful if you could please given details of the items you would like to donate along with your contact details and we will be in touch with you as soon as we can.

In regards to PPE, the Trust are very grateful for all the offers of donations received to date.

There is now a Local Resilience Forum established through the County Council who are coordinating equipment supplies including PPE.

At present NCIC Trust have managed to secure sufficient supplies through established supply routes and therefore there are no active requests for additional support.

If this situation changes a request for support will be made through the Local Resilience Forum.

Therefore we kindly request that no donations of PPE or home-made items are brought directly to any of our sites at this time.
