People aged 65 and over - or those who have a terminal illness and need help with their pets - can contact a charity called The Cinnamon Trust.

pexels-katlovessteve-551628.jpgThe Cinnamon Trust is the only specialist national charity which seeks to relieve the anxieties, problems and sometimes injustices faced by elderly and terminally ill people and their pets, thereby saving a great deal of human sadness and animal suffering.

The charity offers practical support for those who find themselves unable to manage physical tasks relating to pet care.

Services they offer include: volunteer dog walkers, cat groomers, vet transporters and temporary fosterers.

To qualify for their services you have to be either over 65 or have a terminal illness.

Anyone of any age can make long term provisions with The Cinnamon Trust. They offer a Pet Profile service for any person(s) who have concerns that there will be no one to take on their pet in the event of their death or have to move into permanent nursing care.

The Cinnamon Trust will pay all vets bills and provide a support package to all the pets that come into their care.

If you think The Cinnamon Trust can help you and your family contact 01736 757 900.
